In a valiant and dashing attempt ‘Navagraha’ could have avoided the stealing of ‘Ambari’ the prestige of this state is the only grouse. There is good planning, all the artists have contributed well there are breath taking moments and when you look at the regional boundary this is a passable film. What is the impact of touching such a marvelous antique value is shown at the end with good winning over evil.

The nine youths in which two are girls are having heartening issue in life. They are lead by Jaggu (Darshan). They believe instead of ‘Preethi’ it is money that is important. Some of them are hesitant in the planning of Jaggu yet they jump in to the deal because they are badly in need of huge money. As the planning start for lifting of the Golden Howdah from Mysore palace it looks very dangerous for the audience in the theatre. Via Simha Garjane underground the youth in uniform successfully replace the original Golden Howdah with the duplicate one and they have to transport it to the Mangalore harbor to finish off the deal of 20 million.

In the transit of the most prestigious Golden Howdah the differences of opinion crops up and that leads to evaporation of the entire gang. Thanks to ACP Bhagath (Saurav) for using the helicopter facility in putting an end to the menace of the youths in smuggling the Howdah. The safety of Golden Howdah brings in a sigh of high relief to everyone. The Dasara procession takes place as it is.

Dialogues by Chintan are very good. Each character with desperation is filled with very good lines. The screenplay is very fast and Dinakar the present genre of film maker has used the brain effectively.

This is not a challenging role for challenging star of Kannada cinema Darshan. There are bright chances of Darshan fulfilling long pending demand of winning the best villain award from this film. Like Bollywood the artists are deviating to powerful characters giving up hero image has started from this film it seems.

Dharma Keerthiraj is a treat to watch for his innocence and looks. He is Ranbir Kapoor of Kannada cinema. Giri Dinesh is a surprise. His comedy like his father Dinesh is very good. Vinod Prabhakar is the only one who accurately brings back the memory of his father Tiger Prabhakar. Tarun Sudhir as software professional is apt. Srujan Lokesh is convincing. Nagendra Urs has nothing much to boast.

The presence of Sharmila and Varsha is not touching. V.Harikrishna has lent some lovely tunes and equally good is the cinematography of Krishnakumar. The aerial shots, the fog effect capture of scenes are pretty good.

Go and watch this movie you will know the importance of our prestigious Golden Howdah. You pay penalty for the mistake on this earth.
